There are few things that I detest more than a class filled with students who are smart enough to think they know everything, and too socially inept to realize that they actually know considerably less than anyone else.

At least the instructor is clued in enough to realize when these same students are trying to suck up, and distribute attention and information through the class hour in spite of their interruptions and grandstanding.

Just another day at UMBC.
