electronic music Electronic music is a vibrant musical genre, which cuts across racial and class boundaries, bringing kids together with peaceful and positive messages. No one today doubts the importance of Rock and Roll, and as such, no one should doubt the importance of or attack the existence and appreciation of electronic music. We already have laws in place to arrest and incarcerate drug dealers, don't allow the rights of law abiding citizens to be destroyed for a hollow law.
Events like the Haunted House Party fundraiser have been shut down by law enforcement by ticketing every one of the over four hundred participants without anything but the suspicion of illegal activity. If you believe that an electronic music event you attended was unfairly targeted, please fill out the ACLU form to report incidents of electronic music profiling by law enforcement.
If you've taken the MUSC 427/428 electronic music courses at UMBC, Dale Ghent would like to know your impressions as a student and whether these classes lived up to your expectations.
