Passion Kathleen Ellis secured the use of Dirt Studios to throw a party on April 20, 2002 planning to use the proceeds to cover expenses for the Big Dome.
At one point she compared it to throwing an orgy.
Lots of good karma was spread around, although not much money. For anyone who wants to plan one, I have all the details and Kathleen's planning e-mails saved in my secret PDF files.
Passion, a benefit for Playa del Fuego, will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2002
at Dirt Studios, 2980 Falls Rd., Baltimore, MD. Doors open to the public at 9pm.
Visual effects will be provided by
Fred Merrill, Sean McKnight, Giant Robot Solutions Group, the Baltimore Calefaction Society. Sounds and music provided by
DJ Monk E (Baltimore), Sheldon Drake (NYC), Elektronkind
(Baltimore) Dr. Scientist (Baltimore).
General admission is $7 in advance, and
$8 at the door in costume/playa wear and $12 in street clothes/party clothes.

All ticket and concession proceeds will directly benefit Playa del Fuego
and associated projects.
The Baltimore chapter of DanceSafe's Responsible Party Movement will have a booth.
