Put the pistol targets out at 50' today and royally sucked. I'm not sure what was wrong with my concentration today, but I only got 29 out of 50 shots on the paper at all. My best score was 31.

But I'm not beating myself up about it. Even hitting an 11.5 by 13 inch target 50' away means that I'm keeping the pistol steady within 0.6 degrees of where I want it to be. I could pull the target back to 25' and be all full of myself when I get an awesome high score, but that's not really the point of going out and doing this.

Caught up on all the recycling that piled up around the house by dropping it all at the center on my way. Now except for a slightly sloppy wood pile and some grass and leaf composting bags, the yard is presentable enough for guests and a barbecue in a week or two.

Cooked myself some soup tonight and tomorrow morning I plan to make myself some coffee and an omelet out of all the eggs I've been keeping around and some of the fresh vegetables I bought this afternoon. Once the dishes are finished after that I'll be caught up on my chores and reorganization with the exception of my home office, and I'll be able to crank out some billable hours.
