March 19, 2008 Went to Iraq war vigil at Northern Parkway and York Road, then joined Ben at his house to mourn the loss of his television and Xbox. I found that police scanners are very useful when you're waiting for an officer to arrive. Northern District was on 10-3 (emergency only) for a person with a gun and several other major emergencies which kept anyone from being dispatched for a report for 45 minutes. Normally we'd just be bitching about the slow response of the BCPD but since we knew how busy the district was we just sat and drank some scotch and waited for them to show up.
Baltimore Sun reports:
In Baltimore last night, 100 demonstrators attended a peace vigil at the intersection of York Road and Northern Parkway.
