At this point we're still talking to each other and negotiating out the new details of our separate living arrangements, finances, and how to deal with our shared assets. I do believe that whatever happens we'll remain at least friends and come out stronger and healthier individuals than we were when this process began.

Today was a bit rough watching all her furniture and dozens of cardboard boxes move out the door into the truck. I have the cat to keep me company for a few more days until Suzy can pick her up on Monday, which is some consolation. Thanks to everybody who lent me some kind words today and kept me company outside the house in what would have otherwise been a lonely evening.
