Everybody at my office is sick. When I came home today I was not feeling so well and decided to take a short nap in preparation for going out later. That short nap became a long nap, which is now going to segue into some Babylon 5 DVDs and a night of sleep.

I'm trying to be as active as possible lately, but I don't feel too bad about not going out tonight. I really do want to go enjoy the "Dance for Democracy" event at 2640, but my body needs time to recover from two weeks flurry of activity.

Tonight is a very different feeling from my recent usual ennui that leaves me with plenty of energy and no desire. Tonight I am plenty of desire and no energy. This is also the last night I'll spend with the cat for a while, so I'm soaking in the cuteness while I can.

Never fear, because next week will be action packed. Apparently Tuesday evenings are popular for just about everything, so I'll have to just make it to what I can and sleep soundly at the end of many productive days.
