Welcome to everybody who got my periodic "keeping in touch" e-mail and is now coming here to remember who the hell I am after two years.

The symposium on Giovanni Arrighi's Adam Smith in Beijing: Lineages of the Twenty-First Century at 2640 was pretty cool. I took roughly 3 pages of tight handwritten notes, but I missed the introduction by showing up a little late so I need to find out what order the speakers were actually in.

I've managed to get a few things back to "overwhelming" state pretty quickly (like my e-mail), but I think given some time at the end of the day tomorrow where I can relax with my big screen and awesome keyboard, I should be able to catch up and prepare for a few events on Friday through Saturday.
