We're back from Playa del Fuego and the Zelda's Inferno theme camp. I put a few pictures up on my Flickr page here, and the rest will go up when I have a chance to upgrade my gallery website.

The Harford Park Community Association had a special session after the last meeting to discuss ideas for revitalizing the group. Several people volunteered to put ugly plastic signs in their front yards with the Harford Park name and web site address. There were a few other good ideas, but we need to start committees for it so its not just a few people doing all the work.

I finally remembered to grab the folders of community association historical records going back to before the incorporation (and the first days of the neighborhood) in 1933. I've started a digital archive of Harford Park documents which should be really interesting the more we can collect. I always see a distinct lack of institutional knowledge in organizations like this, so I'm happy to see such diligent early record-keeping and retention.
