SOGSC

I understand why people can hate politics. If the only exposure to it is a few weeks of glossy flyers in the mail a few weeks before the election. I have a stack of glossies a quarter inch thick from this week alone. I've probably recycled twice as many from October.

I got an interesting one that told me "Kathy Klausmeier thinks your tax dollars should be spent giving food stamps and cash assistance to convicted felons, and free needles to drug addicts." I was curious as to what the source of this ad, identified only as "SOGSC" at a Cockeysville address, actually stood for.

It took a little research, since all it the flyer said was "SOGSC, 49 Montvieu Court, Cockeysville, Maryland 21030, Authority: SOGSC, Michael D. Nawrocki, Treas."

Google turns up no meaningful results for either "SOGSC" or "SOGSC Maryland."

A Google search on the address brought me to the Maryland State Board of Elections web site puts Andy Harris and Andrew P. Harris, a Republican in the 7th District Senate as having put that address in his candidate registration information, and then pages of unrelated search results.
