August 8, 2006 Katherine Klausmeier came by the house today and left a flyer. Suzy answered the door so she didn't know to invite them in until they were at the next house.
Ned Lamont beat Joe Lieberman in the CT primary, and the campign is calling their outage of their $15/mo bargain basement-hosted website on a server they appear to share with at least 100 other customers a "coordinated attack by our political opponents."
The page posted at joe2006.com as of midnight read "We call on Ned Lamont to make an unqualified statement denouncing this kind of dirty campaign trick and to demand whoever is responsible to cease and desist immediately." They also offered to send their tech guy over to help, an offer that was refused.
What's funny is that while the website was still down, Tim Tagaris posted on the Ned Lamont blog that "If Senator Lieberman’s website was indeed hacked, we had absolutely no part in it, denounce the action, and urge whoever is responsible cease and desist immediately. It is our sincerest wish that everyone planning to vote for Ned Lamont or Joe Lieberman does so today."
So really, the "call" from Joementum's campaign was a little superfluous. Funny how they managed to get it back up with this message as soon as Lamont won the primary.
