I just realized that Hugo Weaving, Agent Smith from The Matrix, also played V in V for Vendetta.

I now believe that V for Vendetta occurred entirely inside of the Matrix simulation, and was basically an agent ploy to make the masses feel like a revolution has occured.

By the end of the movie I'm sure they won't remember a thing.
