I have no beef with ham radio meetings in particular, but meetings with no fixed time limit and rambling agendas bug the shit out of me.

I've been to four ham radio club business meetings in the last few months for three different clubs and came to the dawning realization that I have witnessed a stunning waste of hundreds of man hours for no good reason. Twice they have squeezed the available time from the presentation I actually showed up for.

I think all meetings should be held standing and not to exceed 60 minutes, with a 80% or better score on a manditory quiz on prerequisite (and previously provided) documentation before someone is granted the ability to speak out loud to the group.
