I've been an amateur radio operator for nine years today. Only sixteen more years to go to the QCWA.

I did a major update on the blog, involving way too many RSS feeds. You may notice them on the sidebar as long as they don't slow down the page too badly.

Guesstimate median page load time so far today has been about 25 seconds. I'm thinking the blogroll build needs to be turned into a static process.

Another big time drag seems to be the random picture selector from my gallery. It may be time to phase that out in favor of relevant static images in my posts.

In honor of the huge number of updates I've done in the last 48 hours, I've run the most popular articles from October prior to this one for the day.
