Playa del Fuego tickets went on sale today.

And promptly sold out in 3 minutes and 36 seconds -- all 400 of them.

Last time around, a bug that allowed people to purchase 0 tickets by accident was fixed. This time, they were only allowed to purchase a minimum of one.

The server was moved from Baltimore (EDT) to Lansing, MI (CDT) between this time and last, the Early Bird ($40) ticket tier did not close before the General ($30) ticket tier opened, so early bird and general were both open at the same time.

As a result, each time the function to build the drop down for each tier was called it had a minimum of 1 ticket, so everyone wound up buying whatever quantity they wanted in general for $30, plus 1 $40 ticket.

And all the very hopeful ticket purchasers just did it, to make sure they got SOMETHING before the sell-out.

Of course, this exacerbated the problem.

Around 9:02 the Early Bird tier was removed and many people went back and re-ordered their tickets at the correct quantity and price, and left their old order there.

That's all I know so far. Ben's working to correct all the issues as quickly as possible.
