Text of today's complaint to the FTC:

For months, Risk Management Alternatives has been calling my telephone number of 410-xxx-xxxx during the day apparently attempting to collect a debt from a Mr. Robert Mitchell, someone I have never met. I called RMA on 6/14/05 and informed them in no uncertain terms that there was no Robert Mitchell at that number and that I would consider any further calls as harassment. The operator refused to take any action without finding out more information about me, which I refused because I have no reason to speak with RMA except to have my number removed from their list. I received two additional calls the week of 6/27/05 in spite of my request. I would like to be removed from the list and official confirmation from the company that this action has been taken.
