The student run radio station of University of Maryland College Park. Had a few occasions to stop there while I was working for WMBC and visiting W3EAX a few doors down from them. Got to have a nice talk with William Kennard, the FCC Chairman about Low-Power FM in their studio.

To WMUC College Park

driving: route 1 north to college park. take a left on knox road (before the university, you'll see the 7-11 & wawa). take knox to the end, then hang a right onto campus and another quick right into parking lots. the next right will take you up a small hill and into another parking lot marked "lot v". you should be able to park in there. south campus dining hall is the taller building straight ahead (not susquehanna which is actually in the parking lot). take the stairs past the atm to the right of the building. i'll make sure that the second door is propped open - just come upstairs and you can't miss us!

metro: college park exit on the green line. when you get out of the metro, take the exit to the left and hop onto the um metro bus. it will drop you off at the stamp student union. from there, just head across the street, through the mall. south campus dining hall is pretty much a straight line from the union, but if you get lost, you can ask just about anyone for directions. once you get to the dining hall, take the second door from the left (i'll make sure it's propped). just go upstairs and voila - wmuc!
