Very early this morning I sent out e-mails to replace the last 18 Playa del Fuego tickets that never arrived in the mail. The sum of my remaining responsiblities for this event is printing out the lists of ticket numbers, exceptions and replacements. And with that, I breathe a heaving sigh of relief.

I've taken a lot of information out of my Red Hat training that I am putting directly back into improving the systems at work. One has been installed fresh and painstakingly documented in 18 typewritten pages about its configuration and migration issues. Having this machine online will allow me to take at least two others out of service in the next few weeks that are long overdue for retirement.

We ended the day with subs at Quizzno's and me with a can of Natty Boh watching House, MD in bed. I don't like a lot of TV, but a fast paced medical drama revolving a Renaissance-man curmudgeon doctor is something I can really sink my teeth into. Unfortunately we had to watch the last 20 minutes of American Idol to get there.
