March 12, 2004 Suzy had to work her shift at Red Emma's today, so I offered to drive her downtown. I sat and ate breakfast there while she worked. Around 13:00, Doug Baker and Christy Thorndill came in off their bikes for something to eat. Christy asked me what I was working on and I told her it was a web form for the Stadium Playground. It turns out that her friend Katie Villegas was the web designer of the site that I hadn't been able to get in touch with. I asked Christy if she would be willing to call her and put me in touch with her, which she was happy to do.
About an hour later I got a call back from Katie. She was flyering for the playground in front of the Waverly Giant and just got back to her house and got my e-mail and voicemail. Since she was only a few minutes away I hopped in the car from Emma's and drove up to her neighborhood. We got all the form stuff uploaded and tested, and cleared the air a little and I headed back to the coffee shop.
We rented I Heart Huckabees, which was really funny. We paused it about three times to do things around the house, and it still felt fresh when we came back to it. I think 35 minutes may be my optimal movie viewing duration.
