Subject: The Incident

On Thursday, March 3rd between 10 and 10:30 pm, a male UMBC undergraduate student reported that he was the victim of an armed robbery in the parking lot behind Hillcrest building by unknown men. His wallet and cell phone were taken. The student was unharmed. Campus and Baltimore County police were alerted and they are now investigating the case. Police believe the incident is isolated. Crimes of this sort are extremely rare at UMBC. It is hoped this incident will serve as a reminder to everyone at UMBC to be alert.
