My quest for a thermostat was thwarted by the fact that I made it all the way to Home Depot without a wallet and had no way to pay. Yet somehow I managed to open a safe deposit box at my bank with no more than my smiling face.

I installed the Rite Temp 8085C when I got home in about ten minutes, including tapping new holes for the mounting bracket. It works like a dream so far, waiting so see how nice it will be to wake up in a 68 degree house in the morning instead of a 60 degree one and still save money on my gas bill.
