Chipotle Mexican Grill in Hunt Valley Went to Chipotle Mexican Grill at Hunt Valley Towne Center today, which I can say is:
- Quick.
- Affordable ($5.80 for a head-sized pork burrito).
- An awful use of available space.
The configuration of the place just screams "Buy our food and leave!" There is a cluster of two dozen seats in the middle of the restaurant and a bunch of small tables that run along the side of the space along the windows, ending at the bathrooms.
The music was muted in the mid-range, but bounced around the cavernous shop floor decor of the main room so half of the tracks sounded like an extended bowel movement punctuated by moaning.
We sat at a table next to the line of customers, so there was a new person waiting just a few feet to my back during my entire dining experience.
The other two plusses are that they have pork burritos, which are pretty cool, and by the end of the line, you have your meal. No waiting for your number to be called like Baja Fresh or Panera Bread.
