American Airlines demands information on friends of travellers

Cory Doctorow wants to know why an American Airlines official in London asked for the names and contact information of all the friends he would be staying with at the end of his flight and why they said a Transportation Security Administration regulation required it, but would not name the regulation. He wrote them this letter on January 14, 2005.
