I hate to say it, but T-Mobile signal around Hunt Valley Towne Center is still spotty. I kept trying to call various numbers until I was about a mile down I-83 from Shawan Road and one finally went through. I hope they finish whatever they are doing soon.

Work approved my request for a spare Powerbook power supply for my desk in case I forget it at home (like this morning) and a Logitech Marble Mouse trackball to soothe my aching wrists. 20 miles later, they are on my desk. The company will be rewarded in higher productivity in the weeks to come.

Otherwise just a normal busy day.

My daily mailbox contents have been increasingly junky lately. Apparently everyone in the free world knows that the State of Maryland reappraised my house two weeks ago. If i don't get 4 mortgage refinance offers a day, I assume the mailman is dead.

Now they have taken to connecting my recently listed phone line to the tax records and making their extended plea to the answering machine which occasionally answers simply, "Hello?" The longest pitch recorded to date went about five minutes without a pause.

Went to Red Emma's instead of Brewers Art tonight and spent a few hours on their wireless Internet sucking down fair-trade coffee. Their place is really cool, and I highly recommend it to anyone in Mount Vernon looking for a place to chill or work.
