January 6, 2005 Lunch today was $9.11 and consisted of a foot-long Subway Club, a can of Red Bull and a box of Nerds from the Exxon station down the street. I also followed it up with a 20 oz Mountain Dew from the snack machine later in the afternoon.
In my past life I was a hummingbird.
Spent the entire workday trying to figure out how to work with a Wavelet encoded Bitmap. The folks at Bosch are being very helpful in trying to get me Windows and Unix (probably Java) applications to work with their image format from their webcams, but it is frustrating not being able to use any of my usual tools to get this stuff up on the web.
Watched Code 46 tonight. Compelling premise, good actors and lousy directing. Science fiction sex scenes are always bad. Why directors even venture there is beyond me.
