January 4, 2005 Another fun day in my position as programmer/sysadmin/firefighter. Lots of shuffling of user accounts and e-mails for the new year, and screaming was kept to a decent minimum. Lots of duties are up in the air but my boss is really good at making sure I don't get sucked into non-I.T. duties. It's always tempting but never winds up well. I know this in my heart.
Brewers Art was cool tonight, lots of folks that I never see at beer, and Suzy and I showed up a bit later than usual around 22:00 so everyone else was in full swing and we were still pretty awake. Good to see Ben, Jacki and Eric, who I don't get too much face contact with lately. Oh and Jacki, thanks for the five minutes. I'll dispose of the snake posthaste.
