George W. Bush From Lisa Rein: Governor George W. Bush faces off against President George W. Bush. The results are very entertaining. Thanks to Dave Awl for the link.
Where George Bush goes, free speech withers.
Jay Bookman believes that George Bush is busy building the American Empire under the noses of U.S. citizens (link expired). Nicholas D. Kristof thinks that the majority of liberals are underestimating and insulting the Preisdent instead of making intelligent criticisms of his policies. Maybe they should push to make the Bush Administration stop lying, instead.
Bush is presiding over the biggest, most expensive federal government in history.
I stand behind Sean Penn's Open Letter to the President of the United States of America (actually from an ad purchased in the Washington Post) . Honestly, the United States just doesn't seem like itself these days.
Dana Milbank of the Washington Post says the President of the United States is distorting facts and figures to forward his own agenda, so according to the New York Times reporter Paul Krugman, the Bush White House has launched a smear campaign against Milbank.
President Bush's decision to de-fund the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) is further evidence that his alleged support for women's rights is shallow and insincere. This administration has consistently denied women access to life-saving reproductive health services, like birth control, check ups and HIV education and prevention. His war against women is obvious.
There are a number of Bush Family Skeletons out there. Its like a family gone wild. Really, this Is Moral Clarity? Apparently Burning Bush jokes aren't funny. Just ask Richard Humphreys of Portland, OR. I just think he's bitter about marked similarities in his heritage. Time to consider preemptive impeachment?
Back in January 2000, when George Bush set his lawyers upon gwbush.com, the parody site fought back. The sign really says it all.
Here is his victory speech from Election 2000.
His record on conservation and environmentalism, as per Howard Dean.
Some people think he's just the president the United States deserves. Some just cringe at the historical precedent.
And for a bit of humor we find that President George W. Bush did not see a sixty-foot-tall billboard featuring Osama bin Laden that appeared suddenly across the street from the White House in August 2001.
