The trial of "Blackbear v. Tulsa Union High School" will begin July 29, 2002 at the U.S. Federal Court House in Tulsa, before Judge Claire Eagan.

Ms. Brandi Blackbear was suspended from school for allegedly "casting spells" on a teacher and making him ill. She was also ordered not to wear or draw any Witchcraft/Wicca related symbols in school. The ACLU of Oklahoma is representing the Blackbear family, and a fund raiser is scheduled for July 21, 2002.
