Too many windows at the end of the day

Worked until 21:30 tonight (just leaving the office now that the Employee Survey is finally complete), and I realized how cluttered I still let the PowerBook desktops get. Its the hazards of tabbed browsing towards the end of the day, but I wind up going back through about a hundred tabs because as things get more stressful I start to do more and more things at once. Reflective protective focus scattering? Who knows.

The Windows XP desktops are still both pretty clean right now but I only use them for music and logs on the right and work orders and IE stress-testing of whatever project I'm really truly focusing on to the left. Still managed to have two e-mail clients open by the end of the day, pointing to the same IMAP box.

I still have a lot of work to do to get really productively organized in my daily tasks, but just thinking about it has brought me a long way in the last week.
