Anti-Kerry Film Won't Be Aired

Washington Post staff writers Frank Ahrens and Howard Kurtz write:

Under mounting political, legal and financial pressure, Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. yesterday backed away from its plan to carry a film attacking John F. Kerry's Vietnam War record, saying it would air only portions of the movie in an hour-long special scheduled for Friday.

Keep in mind that they are replacing the show with a news segment about how documentary programs are unfairly affecting the election process. This isn't a victory for fairness, per se, just forcing them to use less partisan spin.
