Free Amateur Radio Classes at the Historical Electronics Museum A free 10-week course in preparation for the FCC Extra Class Ham Radio License will be held each Tuesday from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm at the Historical Electronics Museum, beginning with an organizational session on September 21st.
Enrollments will be accepted up to the first regular session on September 28, 2004.
Classes are open to the public as well as employees, and there is no age limit.
Since the class is for the third level license, applicants should presently hold or be ready to examine for the General Class Amateur Radio License. Morse Code instruction will be provided for those who desire it. The FCC exam will be given on the last day of classes.
