When everything in the office seems to be configured incorrectly or breaking in spectacular ways, the place to look for solace is not in the menus of Microsoft Outlook 2000. There appears to be no way to enable IMAP while in Workgroup mode. Unfortunately the default configuration here is just that mode, while I want to move everyone to secure IMAP.

Sigh.
