July 14, 2002 Its hard to believe that Im on my way to Chicago right now. Suz laughs. No, to catch a plane in Chicago right now. A plane, believe it or not, bound for Baltimore, on a ticket purchased slightly before our departure this morning for Chicago.
How I could have ever let such a wonderful gal drive all this way on her own before, I'll never know, but I didn't want to miss the opportunity to be with her on her last trip back to Milwaukee from the East Coast.
I hand Suz a cold pita from this morning. She says its better warm and buttery. I agree.
We're still trying to decide which Double T diner we like better. Suz prefers the more comfortable atmosphere of the quieter one off Joppa Road near the new house. I'm still waiting to see if their food quality is up to snuff.
Right now it's 19:45 (18:45 here) in Ohio and Suz is threatening to do unspeakable things to my wristwatch, which she is apparently quite jealous of.
