Work went by like a breeze today. My intern is absent on Friday which lets me spread out over my whole office like I'm used to. As much as I enjoy teaching him and working on projects together, my space simply isn't designed for two people.

My amazing real estate agent Judy Morris scheduled me an inspection appointment for 16:00. Traffic on the Baltimore Beltway east was a serious jam, but Suz made it there on time and they all started the inspection without me.

The only serious problem with the house appears to be seriously low water pressure. The only other issues were some windows that didn't stay up when opened (which is why God invented wooden dowels) and some external problems that can be solved by hammering in a loose piece of gable trim, adding more angle to the dirt around the foundation and some minor problems with the porch. Nothing extrodinary and nothing we can't handle together.

Someone is also very happy because the inspector assured her that it would be quite possible to take out one wall to create her dream of Super Kitchen. She hates the existing stove, but it'll do until we get enough cash to take care of everything that needs to be done and start thinking about remodeling. Apparently a stove takes priority over even a projector. Works for me.

We went to a really cool independent video store on Saint Paul Street across from the Charles Village Pub that I never knew about before. Neither of us can remember what it was called (Suz can't even remember if there was a sign or not) but after much deliberation between the four of us, we settled on Waking Life.
