June 3, 2004 George Tenet is resigning as head of the CIA. He says its for personal reasons but its a little suspicious coming on the heels of Ahmad Chalabi being accused of funneling information to Iran about the fact that we had broken their codes. Whoever gave him this information is a traitor to the United States. Meanwhile, George W. Bush denies ever meeting him in a meaningful way. In Election 2004 news, Americans United for Separation of Church and State reports "a plan by the George W. Bush reelection campaign to enlist 1,600 "friendly" houses of worship in Pennsylvania is amisguided attempt to build a church-based political machine that should be dropped immediately." They mention that "the Internal Revenue Code strictly forbids churches, which are tax exempt, from endorsing or opposing candidates for public office or intervening in partisan campaigns directly or indirectly."
