Don't believe what your parents told you about hard work and diligence. The truth is that if you let something go long enough, someone will show up at your door and offer to do it for free.

Think I'm lying? Just take a look at Dave's carpets. That boy needs to write an inspirational how-to book, maybe something like "Chicken Soup for the Lazy Nerd." I'd buy it.
