The clear skies and bright stars coming back from York this morning on I-83 were lovely, until about 5 miles north of Hunt Valley where I entered the purple haze of the city. I do love Baltimore, but its no stargazers paradise like out west on the empty road near Pawhuska. Traffic was nonexistent on the trip there and back, which I didn't expect at all. I guess there's not a big draw for revelers around the Maryland Line.

I haven't had a day off with a clear schedule in so long I'm not sure what to do with myself. I think this may be a grand opportunity to patch the Netra X1 so that it can serve a more useful purpose than sucking down electricity and complete a few more modules in my Certified Solaris Admin I study guide. Who knows, I may even be able to dig my way back to the fireplace and weight bench and pave the way towards keeping yet another resolution.
