I have no idea how my office thinks that any meaningful work was getting done between last Wednesday and today. I have a series of New Year's resolutions that I'd write up, but the first one is to finally get around to coding a module for restricted access logins so I can write it just for the people who already know why I'm so resolved this last week.

Went up to see Keith Engle and Lisa in York, PA for new years. A bunch of her friends were there to start, and slowly but surely the Catonsville crowd turned up car by car. We watched movies to our very own very active commentary until about ten minutes to midnight where we survived through the next 15 minutes of the MTV live broadcast from Times Square (the only station with Times Square broadcast they could get on the satellite according to Keith) and after a round of wine and toasts, straight back to the movies.

A lovely evening with good friends, and luckily none of Christopher Shays prognostications came true.
