There is nothing like a shower to wash the stench of DC off your body. Woke up this morning in College Park to discover (in addition to Saddam Hussein being captured) that it was Dollar Day at the National Aquarium. After a breakfast of coffee and Dunkin Donuts (thanks Steph!), Suz, I and two Alexes headed up in the cold drizzle to Ellicott City, got my car from O'Donnell and converged on downtown Baltimore. Dave Diller met me at the ticket counter, and Suz and the kids arrived a few minutes later. We spent a few fun (but rather tiring) hours plodding around before venturing back out of the tropical rainforest and back into the cold and wet for food.

I had developed an ironic hankering for seafood while touring the exhibits and had decided that inexpensive seafood was on the menu. Unfortunately, we had all parked too far away in the cold drizzle to do anything but go home once we got to our cars and we were all very hungry, so our only options were in the downtown. Legal Seafood turned out to be a little too expensive for our blood, and Suz decreed that pretty much everything in the food court of the Harborplace mall sucked ass. Finally we settled on Pizzaria Uno which Suz had spotted on our way past the other mall building and ten minutes later I was sucking on a Mountain Dew Code Red like it was the nectar of the gods.
