Okay, my trackball is going freaky on me and caused me to lose half this entry. Grr.

This morning I finally got around to trimming the hedges out front and the edges of the lawn. Didn't actually start the mower, but I'll get around to that sometime this week.

I scanned 159 items on the Canon LiDE 30 this evening, which is my second best day to the day after I got it, where I spent most of the daylight hours scanning 311 pages. There's a modicum of sorting and filing that goes along with it, but since I've started I've managed to get about 4 crates worth of documents out the door and into the county paper recycling system.

The Metro on East Joppa Road is now called Shoppers Food and Pharmacy. Basically it was the Metro with different colors and new nametags. They had a nice selection of ethnic foods of all varieties and we got out of there for $85.10 with a week's worth of groceries including a fair amount of produce and 8 liters of Mountain Dew for $2.

We decided since it was "new" we'd stop and check it out, and now that I've been there it'll probably replace Safeway for my local groceries.
