August 6, 2003 Happy birthday to Patrick Quilty.
At the suggestion of Mike Rose, I'm now trying out NetNewsWire for most of my blog surfing.
Suz and I went to the meet up of Baltimore Howard Dean supporters at the Baltimore Brewing Company tonight. The people in this campaign aren't kidding when they talk about the amount of energy that's being generated and focused around Dean's campaign. After a quick speech by Matt George and some other folks involved in the local effort, everyone split out into letter writing groups and sent personal letters to undecided voters in Delaware and other local states telling them more about the Dean candidacy.
While I'm glad to assist in the process of electing any reasonable looking democrat who isn't George W. Bush, I didn't feel I could write and sign a personal note about him just yet. Suz didn't either, so we walked over to the quiet side and had some sandwiches and a Dunkle before we left for home.
