July 19, 2003 Dawn Culbertson (aka The Evil Pappy Twin), who dares to defame the noble
Renaissance lute by playing punk rock and heavy metal songs on it (by the
likes of Black Sabbath, the Ramones, the Sex Pistols & X), will bring her
dubious talents & twisted sensibility to Club 1919, 1919 Fleet St. in
historic Fells Point, this Sat. night when she opens for BLAMMO, a
quintet with an equally twisted sensibility who is responsible for songs
such as "Knee High to a Labyrinth," "Faux Naive" and "I Fell in Love at
the International Twelve-Tone Festival." The show may also include an
appearance by Pittsburgh-based performance artist Wierd Paul. The show
starts at 9:30 p.m. and there's no cover charge, though freewill
donations will be accepted. For more information call 410-235-2354 or

Party at 2600 North Calvert Street tonight.
