Recently I was scolded for a personal post about an aspect of PDF that I wrote on my personal website in less than glowing terms.

I'm not going to change what I do or don't write on my personal site just because I happen to also be one of the Playa del Fuego webmasters.

A few months ago I put a login on my photo gallery to discourage spiders and welcome only human beings. I didn't actually want anyone who was a human being to not be able to access it, so I had the password request banner read "To login use gallery/gallery."

Watching my log files since that time, I've come to the conclusion that I could conceivably own a thousand dollar safe with the combination written in neon orange letters across the top and leave it in the middle of a busy intersection in Baltimore City and have at least a good hour to an hour and a half before someone intelligent enough to open the door would wander by.
