June 17, 2003 If you live in Queen Village and you know a young dark-haired guy with a white and grey blue-eyed Siberian husky who says he's got a toddler please drop a line to jen@jenniferweiner.com. Here's some background information on the dog attack.
I made my first $25 donation to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation this morning with an 8:10 arrival. For every day I come in to work after 8:00, I've volunteered to send a $25 check off to the foundation. I was actually on Shawan Road at 8:03, but when I realized I was late, decided to stop at McDonald's and grab some breakfast.
I'm listening to the people chatting in our plotter room about the Iraqi troops fighting against us. "Those people have never fought an organized war," someone says, and continues about how they fight randomly and with surprise attacks because they don't have any better experience. The only thing I can think of is this would have been the same words to come out of British citizens' mouths back home during the Revolutionary War when soldiers were shooting the redcoats from the tops of trees.
Segue:
Congratulations to Tramm Hudson and his crew on a successful autonomous helicopter flight.
