Linux Awesome Linux Switch video featuring a super-villan, ala the Apple Switch ads.
The Linux Users Group of UMBC has a new server computer online
called linux.umbc.edu (or lue, for
short), built out of the spare parts donated from its members. The LUG people are really knowedgable, and
even though I don't get to the meetings as much as I'd like to, the umbclinux majordomo list
(subscribe umbclinux) is populated by a number of really helpful and Linux
savvy guys. It's also cool that WMBC
got on their Linux at UMBC
page with a copy of our logo and everything. Jeff Covey tells me that today they
have a couple of neat new things on the front page and also a faq-o-matic script
buried somewhere within that I have yet to see, but am likely to become
very familiar with.
While you're there, be sure to look at the UMBC-LUG
T-Shirts!
