George Paine is madder than I've ever seen him before.

The more people use the word "literally" to mean "very very figuratively", the more I want to take a hammer to my net connection. The Elements of Style is not a long or expensive book.

A Howard Dean supporter wrote an article about the debates in South Carolina, where she says:

Then after hearing a law just passed congress (Another brilliant Bush labor law) that says companies can forego paying overtime for salaried employees.... this literally shocked the person but no matter how much scaring her, we could not convince her to register to vote..

Apparently this particular discussion was accomplished with a taser. Politics is pretty rough these days.

Looks like the Village Voice is now lawsuit happy.

I discovered I have Acute Transcognitive Disorder. Sadly, it appears to be terminal.
