April 16, 2003 Do you like to knit, crochet, quilt or do other crafty things? Don't know how but would like to learn?
Then come over to Atomic Knit Night, Wednesday evenings from 7PM - 9PM at Atomic Books. For more information email:

At lunch this afternoon, we were discussing various dreams of mine: being able to download content from random people's video cameras and onto my Powerbook G4 using my Bluetooth cell phone, entertainment in the conference room at work, and shooting a deer with my Beretta 92 Brigadier FS. This, of course, led to the discussion of "Rob's Fantasy Island" and the quote of the month from my boss:
"I would rather be offshore in a sea of shit than go on to Rob's Fantasy Island."
Ouch.
Pantagraph reports on another 800 MHz failure. McLean County, Illinois "is looking for a new radio system because sheriff's deputies have
complained about poor reception since the $2.4 million E.F. Johnson
800-MHz system was put into service about six years ago.Problems with the
Johnson system prompted Bloomington and Normal police to abandon it and switch
to their old 400-MHz systems."
Thankfully, I did not die in a plane crash today. Here is the Rob Carlson who did.
