Safari Safari is the Macintosh web browser. It's really cool and slick, but also really quirky. Apparently if it receives a cookie from index.html, it won't give the cookie back when loading a file called / on the same server. I can't tell whether its just my bad code or poor browser design. I'll file a ticket today and see what they say.
Update: Apparently my cookies weren't robust enough. This article has more details on Safari's cookie strictness.
Here's a good list of features that should be integrated into Safari.
