Sean points out McMaster-Carr as a good research for purchasing kevlar. He writes, "They have kevlar and other fire resistant threads, and other fireproof items that can be useful for constructing fire toys that are not available through Renegade and Dube (different fire resistant blends). There is also cool stuff like aluminized gloves, Booger suits (heat resistant clothing), squeeze bottle for flammable fluids, etc."
