I'd like to congratulate Mr. Scott James Wilson and Miss Lisa Marie Vacca, who can now call themselves Mr. and Mrs. Wilson.

Scott and Lisa Marie had their first date on May 15, 1997, were engaged one year and 11 months later on April 23, 1999, and married on May 6, 2001, just a week shy of four years from their first outing together.

Scott and Lisa came down from New Jersey to Baltimore to visit me shortly after their engagement, and show off Lisa's lovely engagement ring. I believe it was a ruby if I remember right. I'm sure she'll correct me if I'm not.

In any case, I can still remember standing out in Lot 4 across from Susquehanna Hall at UMBC talking to the both of them in the spring air and admiring Lisa's ring in the reflection of the street lamps and the moonlight.

Even back then I could tell these kids were right for one another. :-)

Scott and Lisa Marie were married in the St. Bernard Church in Bridgewater, NJ with a reception afterwards in the PNC Bank Arts Center on the Garden State Parkway.

Best man Stan Lobby sent me a boatload of his pictures from the wedding that I posted up on my site, a whole page of my digital camera photos of the reception and the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans Memorial and a couple of shots from Scott's last bachelor road-trip which I couldn't attend because of Beach Burn.
